Return Policy

How to return your rug:

Rug Expo has a 30 day Return Policy which may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returns must be in original packaging (use tape to secure it) and in new condition for resale. (Please call to obtain a Return Authorization number that you will need to be attached to the returned item). No return will be accepted without a Return Authorization number and your full name written on the package.

All truck shipments need to be inspected for all damages at the time of the delivery and must be noted on the bill of lading for us to file a claim and reship to you. If you receive an item damaged, please notify the shipping company and call customer service at 800-784-3995 as soon as possible. Any defective items must be reported within 14 days.

All Clearance Rugs, custom made, close-outs or cut roll runners are not returnable or exchangeable. Please be aware that we inspect the rug upon arrival. Items that have been soiled or damaged may be refused or cause you to incur additional fees.

Please return your item to: Rug Expo at 10333 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas Texas 75220. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges on returns (outgoing & incoming).

Rug Expo is not responsible for rugs damaged or lost while in the return process. We strongly suggest insuring your return, use a shipper that provides tracking information to follow its progress.


Undeliverable or returned rugs

All items are shipped via FED EX, UPS or Common Carrier. Shippers will make 1 to 3 attempts to deliver your purchase. Undeliverable or Refused orders will incur a 20% restock fee in adition to any and all shipping charges and/or storage fees.



Processing, handling and shipping fees charges are not refundable for any reason. Be aware that it can take up to 3 weeks for a credit to appear on your statement.
